About Forest River Salem

The Salem line of travel trailers made by Forest River is a diverse line-up. Most of them are longer travel trailers with plenty of room to move about and plenty of places to sleep. Every Salem has at least one slide-out and at minimum can sleep four, with a lot of them sleeping at least eight. Most of them are family-friendly bunkhouse models. However, if you are part of a camping couple there are some truly great Salem layouts to choose from as well. Versa Lounge

If there’s a slide-out in the Salem you’re looking at that holds the sofa and dinette, then you get the Versa Lounge, a shared center section that flips to create a U-dinette or flips back to complete the sofa.

High-rise Kitchen Faucet

The Salem’s high-rise spring spout faucet makes it easy to wash fruits and veggies. But with the pull-out sprayer and deep sink undermounted into a seamless countertop, you can easily wash your pots and pans too.

3-burner Cooktop

High output and high functionality, the 3-burner cooktop gives you the ability to cook a lot at once. Plus, before the burners are on, the glass cover provides additional space off the seamless countertop to prep your camp meals.

11 Cubic Foot Fridge

Roomy and frost-free, this larger-than-normal 12-volt refrigerator is a huge asset to the Salem line. Obviously, it’s part of the loaded RV kitchen but with this much cold storage it deserves special mention.

Custom Versa-Tilt King Bed

The folks at Salem wanted to make sure you rest comfortably. That’s why all main Salem bedrooms come with a roomy Versa-Tilt king bed with upgraded bedding on the evergreen mattress that includes a fitted sheet.
